You can express yourself in many ways with your voice and speech. As a singer, you always have your instrument with you; it is in your body, but it only becomes music when you sing with heart and soul. Because your voice is irreplaceable, it is wise to train it properly under the tutelage of a knowledgeable and experienced pedagogue. Singing is also a sport, which keeps you healthy and young in the simplest way!

Ensembles, workshops, master classes in which singers can participate:
During 6 lessons in the period of September-December, we study various works from the baroque period. The choice of pieces depends on the size of the ensemble, for example, works by Corelli, Handel and Telemann. We will end the course with one or more performances by the students and the teachers.
The lessons are suitable for the following instruments:
Recorder, oboe, flute, violin (viola), cello, viola da gamba, bassoon, harpsichord.
There may be opportumities for some advanced singers. Pianists are welcome to play the harpsichord.
The required playing level includes: being able to study pieces independently, playing rhythmically stable, being able to tune your instrument yourself, having experience playing together, being able to read up to 4 sharps and 4 flats.
During the course, attention is paid to ensemble, articulation, ornamentation and intonation (tuning), appropriate to the music of the baroque era.
Depending on the registrations, the course can be given in modern tuning (440 Hz) or in old tuning (415 Hz).

Weekend masterclass on vocal and performance technique 2026-2027
2026, October 9th and 10th
For all courses, students are given the opportunity individually and in ensembles to work on a song or aria of their choice with the relevant tutor.
Areas of focus include singing and acting technique and stage directions where appropriate.
Each student has 20 minutes with the teacher. When you sing a duet you get a 40 minute lesson together. In addition, work will be done on an ensemble piece for the entire company, and all pieces will be presented at the end of the course in a room with an audience.
The workshop is on Friday October 9th and Saturday October 10th
