Guitar
Born in 1960, Ruud started playing the guitar at the age of 12 after first having studied electronic organ for a few years. Ruud is self-taught but has followed a classic 9-year course at Ocker Toetenel from the age of 19.
Ruud has always had a great preference for jazz and after studying classical guitar he also studied jazz guitar for years and attended many workshops and master classes of national and international jazz musicians.
Ruud has been teaching for over 25 years, of which 13 years at the Koorenhuis in The Hague and therefore has a lot of experience in teaching. Individual lessons and groups, children, youth and adults, acoustic and electric, from classical to rock to jazz, from beginner to advanced.
